Tamara Federici has written and produced television for 15 years in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. She’s the Writer and Director of her debut film, 39.

She worked for 3 years as Associate Producer at CHAPPELLE SHOW working directly with Dave Chappelle and his co-creator Neal Brennan. She wrote about her experience holding cue cards for Rick James when he forgot the words to his international hit “Superfreak” on the show for xoJane.

Other TV credits include THE DAILY SHOW WITH JOHN STEWART, IMPORTANT THINGS WITH DEMETRI MARTIN for Comedy Central, and Senior Writer/Producer for HBO’s This Just In. She also served as Story Editor for Blue’s Clues spinoff Blue’s Room.

Her published work has appeared in the New Yorker and in MAD Magazine. In 2014, Tamara co-wrote a song for Neko Case called “These Aren’t the Droids” for 2776, a comedy charity album produced by Rob Kutner and the Levinson Brothers.
